La gare de Thomery, à 20 min à pied, permet de rejoindre Paris en 45 min.

The house is an ideal starting point to discover Fontainebleau, Moret-sur-Loing and Saint-Mammès, Milly-la-foret and Barbizon. The Scandiberique (Eurovelo 3) passes right in front of the house!

30 minutes by bus from INSEAD, Samois sur Seine is a village of character, full of charm, with all its local shops, on the edge of the Fontainebleau forest. Walking and cycling paths are accessible within a few minutes walk from the accommodation in the direction of Bois le Roi, Fontainebleau, Barbizon and the surrounding area. Located along the Seine, you can go for a walk or enjoy aquatic activities. On request, we can rent you bicycles and crash pads.

Edge of forest restyled cottage near Fontainebleau

Our recently fully renovated cottage is set in the middle of a large garden on the edge of the pretty village of Montigny sur Loing. A peaceful rural hideaway on the edge of the 25000 hectare Fontainebleau forest famous for its boulders. Shops 5 min. walk. The train station with direct trains to Paris Gare de Lyon every hour is a 10 min. walk away. 2.50€ a ride. Free parking at station. 55 min. train ride to the heart of Paris.
