The north facing balcony provides abundant natural light and overlooks the iconic ACDC Lane Hotel quality mattresses and high-grade linen ensure a good night's sleep, and double glazing provides a peaceful escape from the sounds of the busy city when needed. A small supermarket is just 50 metres away and is open from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm (approximately) most days. The apartment is minutes from Flinders St. Station and Federation Square - the heart of Melbourne. It is located in the best restaurant district, and is close to the renowned "Paris End" of Collins Street, high-end shopping, theatres and galleries. Melbourne's city centre has a free tram zone, and there is a tram stop at the front of the apartment. It is also on the iconic free City Circle Tram, which takes you around the circumference of the city, with a commentary that points out some of the famous landmarks along the way. If you need to use public transport to go outside the free zone, you will need a MYKI card - we can provide you with one on request. A taxi from the airport is about $65.00 depending on traffic. If you decide to use the airport Skybus it will drop you at Southern Cross Station. Catch the City Circle Tram (anticlockwise) or a tram heading East along Collins Street (No, 11, 12 or 109) or along Flinders Street (No. 48 or 75). You will need to get off the tram at Exhibition Street. If you are coming by car, access to the Building is from Flinders Street heading eastwards, between Russell Street and Exhibition Street. Check in time is after 2.00 pm. Check out time is 10.00 am, unless we have agreed otherwise.
