Timberwood Tiny Home is a place to rest your head & heart in Efland, North Carolina. The peaceful retreat is down a country road approximately 10-minutes from downtown Hillsborough. The 200 square foot tiny home is on a private corner of 8-acres shared with our main house. It features Scandinavian-style details, two beds, a spacious porch, abundant natural light, a wood-fired hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and more. There are features of the home that may make it unsuitable for children.

Then came barns and slaves’ quarters (no longer standing). The dairy barn is now a woodworking shop and the bank barn was recently restored. The main house, built in 1835, is Greek Revival style. The kitchenette is equipped with a keurig coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom has several extras in case you forget something. The shower, which has exposed copper plumbing, is sure to impress. Outside there is a small patio with adirondack chairs that over looks the horse pasture and our beautiful Panhandle sunsets.
