It is located in the heart of Lorne with less than 5 minutes walk to the beach. Offering a self contained experience for a couple with sofa bed option. The apartment is part of the Cumberland Resort which includes a pool, gym, gardens and outdoor BBQ facilities. The dedicated onsite underground car space accommodates vehicles to 2.1 m high. Our beautiful home is directly opposite the beach in the heart of historic Barwon Heads. Ballara #8 incorporates a fully restored heritage-listed 'boathouse' and features a pleasing outlook over the river with glimpses of the Port Philip Heads and the Pt Lonsdale Lighthouse. Ideal for families with an outdoor BBQ / dining area and heated plunge pool (both under cover). This house is a wonderful place to stay summer or winter, with gas log fire and airconditioning in the upstairs living area.

Our cute 1960s beach shack was thoughtfully up-dated and decorated with all necessary comforts including a well stocked games cupboard. Settle in and un-plug - (no TV here). Many living areas, you’ll always find a perfect nook, no matter the weather. There’s a fireplace indoors and also a fire pit outside. Just over the road is the bike/ walking path taking you along the Barwon River. The house is only a short ride to Hitchcock Ave -the main shopping strip. Easily walkable too.
