The private cabin is set apart from the main house on a quiet property, only 16min to the lively town of Braidwood. It sits beside the Jembaicumbene Creek, is surrounded forest and full of native wildlife, birds and untouched bush. There are trails to hike through the rainforest, where you have the chance to see wombats, echidnas & if you're lucky the spectacular lyrebird.

We have lots of wood for the fire in winter, the outdoor bath is wonderful for stargazing & the (shared) swimming pool heaven on a hot day. We can also provide transport at a competitive fare to & from nearby walking trails, wedding venues & wineries.

There is plenty to do, from exploring the property, checking out Milton's cafes, boutiques, restaurants and venues, to enjoying beautiful local walks and surfing or just hanging at the beach. The lake bed is visible during the dry years and the lake will slowly reappear during wet years. The lake is currently the fullest it’s been in many years. The original stables at historic Longsight have been lovingly restored and converted to luxury boutique accommodation. Many of the original features have been preserved such as the exposed wood rafters, weatherboards, iron roof and facade. Even the original saddle racks remain in the bathroom and old framing timber has been repurposed into a beautiful kitchen island.
