It is a well-designed property to take advantage of the seasons. It will be warm in winter if the curtains are kept open during the day and cools down lovely in summer if you open it up at dusk to let the fresh breeze in that arrives in Canberra then. Many of the original features have been preserved such as the exposed wood rafters, weatherboards, iron roof and facade. Even the original saddle racks remain in the bathroom and old framing timber has been repurposed into a beautiful kitchen island.
