This is our go-to hiking spot, because it is just down the road, and it contains several serene and lovely forest trails. A fun destination in the woods, for first-timers is the "The Erratic", a giant glacial boulder. "it is believed to be the second largest glacial erratic in Washington". I recommend downloading an app, such as All Trails to avoid getting lost. It happens!

Several nice shorter trails for kids with lots of turn around points. Nicely shaded. Lots of slugs and wild mushrooms in the Fall
