Most consistent Ethiopian in the Central District. Get some takeout, maybe a veggie combo with a meat dish like lamb tibs, doro wat, or, for the adventurous, kitfo! If raw beef isn’t your thing, you can ask them to cook the kitfo, but it’s not the same.

My favorite breakfast spot in the neighborhood. It’s the best ful you’ll ever have. The vegetable sampler is also in its own league.

There are a lot of East African restaurants in the neighborhood, but Cafe Selam is a gem. It is a small unassuming place, but the food is what keeps the regulars coming back for more. Short walk to Cherry & 27th.
