A well known and great sandwich place, the Ham Shoppe has been around for decades and serves out of this world sandwiches and other simple dishes.

A great sandwich shop, we love stopping here before we go out hiking so we can take lunch with us. It's also located right across the street from the original Mast General, so definitely hop in there as well!

They have good food but no seating. So this is a good place to pick up sandwiches & sides for a picnic or to take back to the cabin. About seven minutes away on the way to Boone & Valle Crucis. Open Mondays - Thursdays from 9:00a-5:00p, Fridays - Saturdays from 9:00a-6:00p and Sundays from 9:00a-5:00p. Open every day:)
