Russell and Jan McGlashan began establishment of their ten hectare vineyard, McGlashans Wallington Estate in 1995. Four varieties are now planted including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Shiraz. The sandy loam over buck shot clay provides the perfect soil structure for production of their premium cool climate wines. Winemaker, Robin Brocket uses French Oak to mature the wines for 12 months prior to bottling. The wines are multi-award winning and have received a five star rating in the James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2015. The new cellar door has now opened and offers wine tasting and sales, along with gourmet grazing platters featuring local seafood and wood fired pizzas in winter. A maritime and automotive memorabilia display is located in the cellar door along with classic car exhibitions. Call in and enjoy the friendly hospitality and have a browse while enjoying the view over the vineyard with a glass of estate grown wines

Some of the oldest vines on the Peninsula producing some excellent award winning Shiraz. Great grazing platters, wood over pizzas, space for kids to run and vintage cars.

A little eclectic with it's very odd collection of, well, everything. Each corner has different vintage bits and pieces. From old Weetbix tins to an old diving suit. The times we've gone, the wine tastings have been good but not necessarily offered in a passionate way. They have some beers as well but not for tastings including an ale with abalone involved. Their platters are good sizes and not bad value. The owner also often has his cars on display and there's an old bus from a bygone era - no shortage of memorabilia here.
