This is a river beach so its calm if you don't like the surf beach. There are dogs at the beach but its very tranquil and an amazing place to watch the sunset. Just be aware at dusk there may be sandflies, but during the day its wonderful. Go to the end of Hastings st and follow the road to the left. There are signs to pathways that lead there. Its great if its too windy from the north and Noosa main beach is too windy for you and vice versa if its too windy there it should be perfect at Noosa main beach

This is a lovely quite spot for swimming. Just in from the river mouth, the water is beautiful! If you aren't keen on busy beaches or the rough eastern beaches this is the ideal spot.

Doggy Beach is a beautiful off leash dog haven tucked away in the Noosa Woods off the Noosa Spit end of Hastings Street. The best car park is the second major one along Claude batten Drive (just past the Noosa Spit sign) after leaving Hastings St. Look for the shed-like shelter on the left and the entrance is just there. The most direct path to the beach leads from the far right corner of the car park. The most picturesque off leash dog beach in south-east Queensland, Doggy Beach is a large beach with white sand at the wide mouth of the Noosa River, with crystal clear blue water. You can see the distant volcanic mountains, surrounded by the greenery of Noosa Woods.
