New Paltz is at exit 18 off 87. It’s a nice day trip. Town features plenty of nice restaurants and shops as well as the historic district.

If you are in New Paltz and want a nice shaded place to go for a stroll, check out the old town. Its quiet and aesthetic and a quick walk back to main street for food and beverages.
