They all have their strategies to maximise their sauna time, from swinging a towel to spread the heat to splashing water on their bodies to cool themselves down. It's an experience you won't find at your typical day spa.

A historical landmark of Bondi Beach for over 100 years. Featuring both a larger lap pool and smaller kid’s pool, qualified lifeguards are on patrol during opening hours all year round. Also has a sauna and cafe. Adult: $9 Child (12 years & under): $6 Seniors Card Holders: $6 Family (2 Adults & up to 3 Children): $25 *closed on Thursdays for cleaning*

An iconic 50 meter lap pool, also gym, sauna and massage available here. There's a brilliant cafe inside called the Crabbe hole, which has amazing strong coffee and food with a spectacular view. To walk from the flat I like to go to the stairs at the end of Fletcher St and head toward Bondi on the coast path. There's a totally worth it entry fee for swimming, saunas and gym facilities.
