my favorite outside bar at the moment, it's kind of a secret tip, because viennese gardens have to close at 10, 11 pm max, but this one still got an old contract so you can sit outside until 2am for having drinks (typical beers and spritzer (white wine with sparkling water) available, attention: cash only!

The time-honored Rüdigerhof, built in Art Nouveau style in 1902, is a very special place in Vienna: the ambience is charming and quaint. Here, the Viennese sense of history is palpable in the air. The café located in the building was and still is a popular meeting place for artists and coffee house lovers. The interior, which has hardly been changed since the 1950s and 1960s, takes you on a journey back in time, and the Schanigarten is a particularly cozy place to sit under old maple trees. The Schnitzel Wiener Art, which we think is one of the best in Vienna, is also classic, crispy and delicious here and is fried in the pan in clarified butter according to old tradition.
