Main spots, Plaza de Santa Ana, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, Royal Opera House and Royal Palace. Is a huge area with many historic monuments, museums, but also markets, shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, etc. It can be a bit rowdy on weekends but is definitely one of the landmarks of Madrid.
