Spanning over 700 years, the collection at The Aberdeen Art Gallery includes works by Scottish artists, designers and makers such as Henry Raeburn, Joan Eardley, Samuel Peploe, Rachel McLean, Bill Gibb and James Cromar Watt, as well as nationally and internationally-acclaimed artists including Barbara Hepworth, Francis Bacon, Tracey Emin and Claude Monet. Their designer café offers good food and treats. Find interesting gifts in the gallery shop. After a visit to the gallery a quick walk along Schoolhill will take you to the beautiful Marischal College. You could also visit Provost Skene House to learn about the influential people of the north-east before stopping off at BrewDog (on Gallowgate) or All Bar One for food and drink or if you have the kids, Mackies 19.2 Cafe is a treat and the kids can run around the courtyard while you rest!

Free entry and home to one of the finest collections in the UK, including works by important Scottish artists, designers and makers such as Henry Raeburn, Joan Eardley, Samuel Peploe, Rachel McLean, Bill Gibb and James Cromar Watt, as well as nationally and internationally-acclaimed artists including Barbara Hepworth, Francis Bacon, Tracey Emin and Claude Monet.
