Save the £25 entry to the Shard viewing platform and buy a drink here - it's a few floors lower but the views are still spectacular.

Panoramic views and Modern British food from a dining room and bar on the 31st floor of The Shard. Pricey, but worth it for one-time and if you're visiting London.

Upmarket British food restaurant, best to book for a meal, serves breakfast. Open bar on a first come, first served basis. Stunning views of London, elegant ambience. Smart dress code. District line from Stepney Green station to Monument, then 15mins walk across London Bridge.

Dont bother paying to go to the top of Londons tallest skyscraper, instead just go for a drink in the upmarket bar half way up with also just a good a view of London, no trainers allowed
