Another place that sells out, this is where the locals go! We have tried every Barbeque place in Fredericksburg, but our preference is Back Woods Barbeque, HANDS DOWN. We recommend the (trust us) cheesy green beans, the moist brisket and any piece of pie or cake to top off your gluttony. This place is one of our favorites! Hours: Open Wednesday through Saturday 11am-8pm, Sunday 11am-2pm. Sundays are big sell-out days with the church crowd.

While I think this place is a little bit pricey for barbecue, there is no doubt that Backwoods is quite good. Be sure to try the pork ribs!
