History Miami Museum, formerly known as the Historical Museum of Southern Florida, is a museum located in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. Founded in 1940, History Miami Museum is the largest history museum in the State of Florida.

Want to learn how Miami got started? This museum is awesome and affordable. Once you are downtown, you can also take the Metro-Mover to Bayside Market Place and other downtown area attractions such as the Perez Art Museum or Mary Brickell Villiage

History buff? If s, you will enjoy this museum that explains the entire history of Miami. I usually take all my first-time friends and family that come to visit. It's very interesting and fun :)
