Groningen is the largest city in the North of the Netherlands and only a 30-40 min bike ride (or a 15 min by car) from our Iglo. Groningen is a vibrant city and has been named best city in the Netherlands many times. Its compact city center is bursting with life and has much to offer in terms of shops, open air markets, theatre, music events, museums, (lots of) restaurants, cafes and history. Groningen is home to 2 (international) universities and so there is always something going on to entertain the many students living in the city.
