Its a traditional thatched old fashioned Devon pub - a roaring log fire in colder months - no awful video machines etc - they are very friendly, and the food is well priced and delicious! What more can you ask? Fridays and saturdays best book as they can get busy.

A lovely traditional pub serving great food. You can drive or walk the 1.5mile (30 mins) walk from Highampton along the country lane. Take a torch in the evening!

Nestled in the heart of traditional, unspoilt Devon village of Sheepwash, and overlooking the Torridge Valley. They serve traditional, freshly cooked and locally produced food. There is a large restaurant or you can sit and eat in the cosy bar, next to the inglenook fireplace. We would advise you book, especially on public holidays.
