OPEN:9:30~16:30 This is very famous sake brewery that was built in 1637. You can take a tour of Gekkeikan Ookurakinennkan for 300yen. Addmision includes a free bottle og sake. You can also sample different types of sake while taking the tour.

The Fushimi Sake District is a charming, traditional sake (good taste) brewing district along the willow-lined Horikawa River in southern Kyoto. Wooden boats carry sightseeing cruise passengers.
