This is a beautiful place and very well-maintained. There is a tour that takes you through the lush grounds. First you see different early methods used to extract the cane juice from the cane. Then you get to the more modern mechanical methods used in the late 1800s and 1900s. Most impressive is the huge waterwheel. At the end there is a tour of the plantation house. The sugar machinery aside, the grounds themselves are worth the visit. There are beautiful flowers everywhere and, if you watch, birds and butterflies. And the best part of it, is that this amazing place is only 25 minutes away from Elnatan.
