The Anchor Hotel in Kippford is the 'old village inn' nestled on the banks of the Urr estruary. Offers alfresco dining in the summer and beautiful open fire to keep you warm in the winter. Dogs allowed. Within walking distance (less than a mile away) from Barnbarroch Lodge.

Another great restaurant with seating out front (no garden) so more suited to adult groups. Nice pub, great food and good atmosphere with lovely views
