Baita Alpe Aurelio-Hut Lago Maggiore

Characteristic hut located in a high mountain pasture (7 huts)at 1000 meters above sea level. Reachable only on foot in 40 minutes from the village of Miazzina (VB) by an easy path.Allows to enjoy the wild atmosphere of the nearby Val Grande Park and offers an outstanding view over Lake Maggiore.The hut is equipped with a wood boiler providing hot water and with a solar panel producing electricity for lighting and charging electronic devices. In July and August we prefer to have 3 guest or more.

Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Bellissimo bilocale in un edificio rustico del sedicesimo secolo appena restaurato. E' molto silenzioso: si raggiunge a piedi per un breve sentiero. La casa si trova al centro dell' antico borgo medievale di Rivoira, accanto al forno a legna della comunità e vicino all'antico torchio per la spremitura dell'uva. L'abitato si trova ad un'altezza di circa 500 metri all'imbocco della Valle Vigezzo, e l'edificio si affaccia sulla splendida vallata dell'Ossola, di fronte al Moncucco e a Domobianca.

Si trova in un piccolo villaggio alpino da cui si parte per raggiungere altri villaggi e località, a piedi e in auto. Close to the house there is the possibility to swim in the river or at the waterfall. Recommended for people seeking tranquility, hikers and in search for privacy and contact with nature. ANCIENT STABLE IN CANOVA SINCE 1672

Canova is near the Toce River, just few minutes from Domodossola. The medieval village consists of a dozen of stone houses builded from 1200 to 1700, all restored. The accommodation is an old restored stable, aged 1672, used for the horse change. The village is close to the most important ski resorts of Ossola Valley, Monte Rosa, Premia Spa with hot springs, Toce Waterfall and Lake Maggiore. Domodossola Train Station at 7 Km, Malpensa Airport 45 min.
