Not more than 2 hours from the ports of Le Havre, Cherbourg, Ouistreham and St Malo and ideal staging post to explore the Normandy landing beaches, Bayeux, Mont St Michel and the Cotentin coast. Close to the historic town of Avranches and commercial centres with a wide choice of restaurants and shops.

Gite GAUGAIN is a lovely cottage, a separate bedroom with ensuite (shower and toilet) and open plan lounge/kitchen & a cute fireplace . It is very peaceful & surrounded by a lovely garden & farm fields. In the heart of the country yet close to tourist spots like Mont Saint Michel (25mins), Medieval town Fougieres, Saint Malo & 5 min drive from the chateau de la Rouerie. Bikes also available. Massage treatments available. When the gites aren’t open this is run as an art retreat.

My secluded cottage lies in the countryside of Normandy on a completely private terrain of, 8000m2 with an own driveway. The remote house sits alone in the hills with no neighbors and has a garden with cherry, apple and walnut trees. Explore the lush green grasslands and charming French hamlets right from the driveway. The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace.

Située à 100m du sentier littoral, vous aurez accès aux près salés pour découvrir les magnifiques panoramas qu'offre le site de la Roche Torin sur la merveille ou encore observer le mascaret lors des grandes marées. Vous pourrez également prendre vos vélos pour vous rendre au Mont en empruntant la voie verte.

Stunning Shabby chic home on the Cotentin coast, decorated to a high standard. The cottage is on the grounds of a large villa. It is in the centre of a very small village which has a bakery, small convenience shop, cafes and restaurants. It is a short walk to the beach. This is a convenient location for the Mont St Michel and exploring the Brittany/Normandie border.
