Walks for all abilities from our doorstep. Two medium sized dogs are welcome. Local pubs are dog friendly and we have lots of places to eat locally. Amazing views, a wood burning stove, a very comfy four poster king sized bed, easy to use sofa bed and a fantastic shower have all been in 5* feedback left by many satisfied guests.

This self contained 1 bedroom annexe with king size bed + seperate lounge with portable air con unit/fans, sofa bed, extra spare bedding , washing machine, dryer, WIFI , short walk (15 minutes) to beautiful river and canal path walks, farmshop or local high street. The owners have 2 cocker spaniels so dont mind clients bringing one well behaved pet on holiday too. Basic Breakfast supplies will be provided too.

The property is a beautiful maisonette at Station House, an iconic grade 2 listed former railway station built in 1841 .The history of the building can still clearly be seen; indeed your accommodation is in the old waiting rooms overlooking the station platform. Tours of the rest of the site may be available on request, including the old goods shed. Guests have access to the public footpath/cycle way adjacent to the property along the old railway line.

Contained within a converted 19th century Chapel/School this modern single ground floor annex provides a restful haven for weary travellers. With its own private courtyard and outside fireplace there's a feeling of peacefulness inside and out. If you fancy a short stroll, the Hare and Hounds pub provides excellent food and entertainment, and there are direct buses to Leeds, Wakefield, Elland Road and the White Rose Centre.

Our little cottage is the perfect base for visits to the local tourist attractions, such as Hebden Bridge, Haworth (home of the Bronte's), York and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, to name but a few. And if you're into walking and taking in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, then look no further, you could start with the Calderdale Way or the stunning North Yorkshire National Park which is only an hours drive away.

The apartment is 10 minutes, by taxi, from Leeds train station and a few minutes walk from the nearest bus stop.
