Mowamba River Lodge

Spacious lodge on the banks of the Mowamba River situated 10 minutes drive out of Jindabyne. The lodge is secluded in a 120 acre valley, surrounded by the Snowy Mountains, with abundant wildlife including kangaroos, cockatoos, wallabies and wombats. The lodge can naturally split into two self-contained apartments with an interconnecting door that can be locked, each with a living area, kitchen, bathrooms, toilets and dining room. The South apartment is wheel-chair accessible from the car park.

The Tree House Apartment is the ground floor of a beautiful wooden 2 storey house built in the early 90's. Uniquely supported by original timber powerpoles, the open plan, north facing apartment is located on a quiet circuit with views over the oval, the lake and beyond to Mt Kalkite. It's an easy walk to town, bars & restaurants and close to the ski resorts. Spacious living area, comfy warm beds, free wifi. There is even a cupboard under the stairs (for Harry Potter fans).

Banksia House offers the genuine Snowy Mountains experience. The house is nestled in Kalkite, the hidden village of the snowy mountains. Surrounded by breath taking views of Lake Jindabyne and Australia's most awe inspiring mountain range. Additional accommodation is available in the attached Studio, which sleeps a further two guests and is rented separately.
