The Stables

Since converting our old stables it has been very popular with people visiting York and Harrogate which are both 20 minutes away.We are lucky to have some lovely local pubs/ restaurants in the nearby villages (10mins away) Within half an hour you can be in the Dales or the Yorkshire Moors - walking, visiting a National Trust property, or sampling a local pub or tearoom. The Stables are clean, cosy and comfortable, with modern, light rooms. The views overlook farmland - beautiful in the evenings.

Great local pubs and restaurants serving excellent food and a supermarket/shops a short drive away.

Glamping Pod nr York : Private wood fired hot tub

Our lovely wooden glamping pod has a comfortable double bed and we can offer a camp bed for an additional guest . Bedding and towels are provided . The pod has electric and is heated by it's own little woodburner . The Glamping pod has a private wood fired Spa hot tub. There is a private composting toilet and shower , in addition the luxury showers and toilets are close by. The pod is situated close to the field where the farm animals graze.

Relax with the family or friends in this 2 bedroom, dog friendly cabin surrounded by meadows and woodland. Conveniently located just a short drive to the Park & Ride you can access the historic town of York. Knaresborough, Harrogate and the A1 motorway are also easily accessible as well as the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales. There are public footpaths to explore from the site as well as cycle routes taking you to nearby villages.

The Gables, Tadcaster, LS24 8DP

The Gables (LS24 8DP) is a 3 bedroom Edwardian villa in a quiet part of Tadcaster, ideally situated between York (9 miles) and Leeds (14 miles) and close to many popular wedding venues. Holidaymakers and workers are equally welcome. Parking is on the lane right outside. For those wanting to visit York, the Park and Ride at Askham Bar is 10 minutes away and a better option than parking in York. The Gables is not wheelchair friendly.

Pear Tree Barn, York 5m, Village Location

Pear Tree Barn has been lovingly restored and converted as holiday accommodation during 2016. The old timbers have been retained but are not obtrusive, where the height of the interior allows the original A frame roof timbers add that necessary rustic charm to what is now a modern property. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking additional steps to clean and sanitise frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

The Pigstywas part of the original farm buildings which were renovated in 2022 / 2023 to create a rustic holiday cottage. The cottage is; 2 .5 miles to York city center, close to bridle paths and footpaths (200m). Walking distance to pubs restaurants and shops. 5 minutes drive to 2 cinemas, leisure parks and retail units. This is the perfect location to explore York, the local area or enjoy a night out.
