Heathcote wine country is only 30 minutes away and Bendigo, a short 15 minute drive offers a multitude of activities including shopping, nightlife and rich art and history culture.

The cabin is cosy, rustic and perfect for a fishing retreat or rural break. Recently updated with modern conveniences, free wifi, Apple TV and breaky supplies included. Axedale has a tavern, 18 hole golf course, general store, kids park and is 20 minutes to Bendigo, 10 mins to Lake Eppalock and 20 mins to Heathcote wine country.

Beautiful views of the surrounding area and friendly locals to offer advice and great food if you choose to eat at their venues. This place is a gem and just a short drive from Melbourne.

Set in the peaceful bushland of Fryerstown, Fryers hut is only 10 minutes from Castlemaine, 30 minutes from Daylesford and 5 minutes from Vaughan Springs. Excellent walking and mountain bike riding are at your doorstep or just relax at the hut and enjoy the garden, pool and sauna. In the heart of the Goldfields region there is plenty to explore including outdoor activities, the arts, festivals, historical sites and great cafes, restaurants and wineries.
