Our cosy private solar powered cabin is set on our farm in the picturesque Kiewa Valley. Close to snow fields, the Hume Weir, Kiewa River, and gourmet food and wine regions. Everything you need for a relaxing weekend away from life's hustle and bustle! We have gas stove and heating and the shower is run with a solar powered gas heating system . There is also a solar powered fridge in the cabin for guests and we have a phone charger above the fridge available. Sunsets and star gazing are perfect

Rail trails for walking or cycling are nearby as is the Kiewa River and the Hume Weir for fishing and boating enthusiasts.

Little Farm Accommodation

We are nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps,close to Bright. There is a crystal clear stream suitable for trout fishing nearby. Our little farm consists of cattle, chickens, two dogs, chestnuts and blueberries and bountiful Australia wildlife. The cottage(bedsit) is self contained and private, with one double and two single beds plus a very large shady garden with a BBQ and Gazebo. Pets are welcome. We very much welcome international travelers to this beautiful area.

"Tanglewood Cottage" features mud brick walls, a reverse cycle air-conditioner, modern self-contained kitchen with stone bench tops. Bathroom features vanity cabinet with a stone bench top. shower and a front loading washing machine. Comfortable lounge with leather couches & efficient antique fire. Beautiful garden of diverse trees leads to a large olive grove. Sheep and Cattle, fresh local olive oil & marinated olives &fresh herbs & seasonal fruit or vegies. A foodies retreat!

Red Box Retreat - Yackandandah

Situated privately on 10 acres just outside the eclectic village of Yackandandah, Red Box Retreat is a stylish contemporary guesthouse catering for up to 6 guests. Just moments from Yack, or 20 minutes from Beechworth, the Retreat provides the perfect base from which to explore the best of Victoria's North East. A two-level studio cottage in a gorgeous, cool climate garden: a perfect getaway for two. Beautifully refurbished. The cottage is self-contained and includes a queen bedroom opening to a private deck with barbecue overlooking our Open Gardens Victoria-listed garden. Downstairs is a sitting room, opening to a garden terrace, a separate kitchen with induction cooktop and bathroom. Beechworth, a historic, 19C, gold-era town, is 4km away.
