"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Although built in 1884 Anglesey has all of the facilities that are expected in a modern home. More history available in the guest guide.

Eulandool cottage is nestled on an historic working property just south of Dubbo. The two bedroom cottage has views across open paddocks to a creek lined with 100 year old gum trees. It is the perfect location for a family visiting the zoo with room to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and detox digitally if desired.

We are located in the midst of The Mountain Trail wineries where you can take in some of the best wineries that Orange has on offer. The Lake Walk is a minutes drive from the studio. From there it is an easy 1k walk to Lake Canobolas or drive directly to the Lake if you prefer. All this and only 7 minutes drive into the CBD of Orange!
