The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Welcome to The Poplars Holiday Cottage, we are located in East Lancashire in a lovely historic hamlet called Hurstwood Village. A rural but not to rural country cottage where you can unwind, rest and relax. If you love walking, cycling again this is the place with many walks and trails on the door step. We can accommodate 3 people having a double room and a single room. There is a lockable bike shed for our cycling guests. Local pubs/restaurants and a village shop is within walking distance.

The village has a great pub, cafe and community shop with locally sourced & eco-friendly produce. Bronte Country, Pendle Hill and Skipton (the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales) are under half an hour drive away. Located on a main train and bus route you can get to us from any direction! We have a bus stop 50 metres away and the train station is a 12 minute walk.
