Fernances Creek Farm is one hour north of Sydney in the picturesque Wollombi Valley. Ten minutes from Laguna with the Watagan Mountains and Yengo National Park on our doorstep. The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

Enjoy this serene a/con homestead on 12 acres as a couple hideaway or a place to connect with friends. Spacious, comfortable with every need catered for. The historical town of Wollombi is a short country drive. We are only 400 metres to access a section of the Great North Walk where you can walk to the top of the mountain or further. Bring your mountain bikes to enjoy a quiet easy ride through this spectacular pastural valley.

We are a popular choice for wedding guests with a 6 minute drive to Redleaf, Mystwood and Woodhouse and 10 minutes to Stonehurst. Great base for exploring the Hunter vineyards, attending concerts, bushwalking or just relaxing and watching cows wander past.

‘Applegums Cottage’ is a pet friendly charming country cottage on 5 acres of land nestled away in the valleys of Wollombi. The cottage is surrounded by stunning farmland views & wildlife, perfect as a writers or artists retreat, romantic getaway, or as an escape from city life while tucked away from town along Narone Creek Road and located minutes away from the historic village centre of Wollombi.

Stewart Cottage

Stewart cottage has three en-suite bedrooms, and is set in quiet and peaceful bushland less than two hours drive from Sydney. Stewart is close to many wineries and restaurants, and only five minutes drive from Hunter Valley Gardens and Roche and Hope Estates. The cottage is kept meticulously clean by our long-term housekeeper. We charge per guest, with a minimum of three guests for weekend stays.
