We are near to many great walks, National Trust/English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

Shawbroom Farm Barns are a pair of semi-detached quality barn conversions located next to the owners’ home on their working smallholding, at the end of a quiet lane in the small North Shropshire village of Soudley. Together the barns sleep four, both have private decked terraces and hot tubs. Close to the village of Cheswardine, a short drive takes you to Newport or Market Drayton. These lovely barns are a perfect destination for a romantic and relaxing break all year round.

Popular accommodation for holiday makers and for attending local weddings; particularly at Iscoyd Park, Hawkstone Hall, Pimmhill Barn, Grange Barn, Cholmondley and many more in Shropshire, South Cheshire and over the border in to Wales. Orchard Cottage Rural Retreats is home to two luxury Glamping Pods, The Laurels and The Beeches (Our Dog Friendly Pod) – situated in Pell Wall just a short drive or walk from the Market town of Market Drayton. Next-door to our site we have a Secure Dog Exercise Area ‘The Dogs Paddocks’ available for private hire we also have many lovely walks on the doorstep and a traditional pub The Four Alls inn at the end of the drive.
