Our charming apartment is nestled in the woods with a prime view of your own private 15 ft waterfall in the backyard. Enjoy peace & tranquility while reading a book on the hammock or warm up by the chiminea while watching the fireflies scatter about the woods. The creek is approximately 3 ft deep at the bottom of the waterfall. The property is surrounded by State Forest. If the apartment gets rented, the rest of the house is blocked from being rented. You will not be sharing ANY space.

Enjoy the feeling of being in a treehouse, while you sit out on the covered deck surrounded by woods and the Horse Pasture River. We are close to Cashiers and Highlands NC.

Comfort, Quiet and Great Location

The home's lower level retreat is close to the French Broad River, bike trails, Dupont and Pisgah Forest, and about a 10-minute drive to downtown Brevard. You’ll love this home because of the quiet area surrounded by trees in development. We have recently acquired a hoot owl and a couple of our famous white squirrels that are now in the trees around the house. The drive to downtown includes great views of the mountains. The space is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

(No standard oven). The road to the property has a steady incline with a mix of gravel and paved. It opens to a secluded, wooded setting that overlooks the hillside and nearby mountain. Yard is not fenced. Our social dog, Charlie, may be off-leash and could be the first to greet you.😊

This beautiful space is a large, 1600 sq foot downstairs basement apartment, with a private entrance through the shared garage. It is a quiet peaceful area and is conveniently located nearby unique shopping in Cashiers, as well as beautiful gorgeous hikes, waterfalls. and lakes. An outdoor deck circles the entire length of the apartment and many windows provide a beautiful view of the mountain. At the Wyndham Resort, just down the road is recreational fun for everyone with a pass.

This colorful apartment is located on the 2nd floor above a pottery studio in Brevard right in between the Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Forest and 5 minutes from downtown. You will have the whole floor to yourselves and your hosts live next door. Downtown is a 5 minute drive with restaurants, breweries, shops, galleries, and so much more. Nature is all around for hiking, biking, paddling, swimming, climbing, and viewing waterfalls. A wonderful place to call home in WNC.

If you are planning to visit our state and national parks, please check to see which trails are open. Downtown Brevard is a quaint mountain town with unique shops, a variety of restaurants and art galleries and is just 15 from the apartment.
