Canoe the river to local craft breweries
Recipe for a perfect day: Floating down an ancient river, cooling your toes in the water, laughing with good friends... all within reach of award-winning breweries serving up fresh craft beverages and tasty treats. We start by meeting near Asheville's River Arts District, where your canoeing gear and friendly guide await. Canoe on a navigable but adventurous section of the French Broad River, where one of the oldest rivers on the planet passes by some of the best spots in "Beer City USA." We'll paddle up to a variety of Asheville's best breweries, eateries, funky riverside bars, and wading pools. Each trip will vary based on the weather, what is open, and what the folks in your group enjoy most. Most trips include 2 breweries, a couple of eating options, and depending on the day, a bonus brewery or winery. Non-drinkers will have plenty of sight-seeing options nearby as well. Depending on the time of year, we may see otters, beavers, herons, friendly ducks, and colorful fish. Other things to note You will enjoy this the most if you are comfortable with being on a river and are able to swim. Rapids are very mild (Class I at most). No pets or children allowed.
Appalachian Farm and Mountain Trail Ride

For 90 minutes, give yourself permission to unplug and indulge in the hidden moments that make this experience unforgettable. From stunning flora to new horizons, come find your joy in nature. Our cozy farm is home to nine horses that love to ride and roam. All are gentle, playful and eager for an ear scratch. Worried about your first time on horseback? Your host, Joy, has trained many riders and will be by your side for the entire trip. Before hopping in the saddle, you’ll learn horsemanship techniques to help you understand your horse while building trust and confidence. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or first-timer, a kid or retiree, it doesn’t matter; you are capable and welcomed! Free your senses with the fresh air, rustling trees, and rolling acres — all in the quiet calm of our farmstead just 30 minutes from Asheville, NC. Tip-Based Asheville Walking Tour
Pay what you want in the end! We will start downtown in Pack Square to learn about the history, architecture, and some of the local legends surrounding Asheville! During our tour, we will be sure to cover all major landmarks like the Basilica of St Lawrence, and the Grove Park Arcade, but we will also go off the beaten path to explore the Block, the YMI, Woolworth Walk's old-timey soda fountain, and Wall St's catwalk! During the trip, I will be providing insider tips on the best places to eat, drink and play for the best prices, including the places where locals hang out for free! We will discuss hidden gems that many people walk by daily without ever noticing an eagle overhead, the faces engraved on the wall, or secret mice! We will dive deeper into Asheville's "buy local" culture and what that means for companies who get listed as "sell-outs." Also, we will discuss stories of sabotage, controversy, and little-known success stories of previous residents! We will also check out a cool museum called Leaf Global and taste local spirits from a distillery and ice cream from the Hop! At the end, my guest will get discount beer tickets to taste some local brews from one of Asheville's finest, local breweries called Twin Leaf. Other thing If you are unable to make your reservation, please let me know so I can plan accordingly!
Asheville barhop by SUP or Kayak
We will be exploring a couple of the best breweries of Asheville by SUP and kayak! 21&up. Get your friends together for a river caravan down the French Broad! This river is flat and wide, an easy beginner run, winding through the river arts district. Our guides will help you learn to kayak or SUP if you are new to it. It is a scenic and fun way to get to the breweries. Great for groups, solo travelers or couples, because you make friends with your crew throughout the afternoon. We have dry bags for personal items, dress to get wet and still be able to walk a block or two. Our takeouts are riverside banks, not docks, so ability to get out of your boat and walk up a trail is required. A sample or two can be provided at the breweries, but bring your wallet to purchase beer and food.

Private horseback trail ride. Only two people per group, must be at least 18 years old and no more than 200 pounds. No riding experience necessary! We will ride for approximately two hours up and down the Blue Ridge Mountains. The terrain varies from open fields to old growth timber forest. Depending on the time of year, we may see long range views from the peak in Winter, the beautiful changing colors of Autumn, or an ensemble of Spring blooms! Upon arrival at the trail head, we will ask you to complete a Release From Liability form, collect the balance of your payment, give you a brief riding demonstration, help you to mount your horses, adjust your stirrups, and make sure your saddles are tight before the start of each ride. However, there's no need to arrive in advance of your scheduled ride time. We simply want to make you aware that it takes time for us to get you ready to ride, so you may be with us a little longer than the 2 hours that you are scheduled to ride. In any case, your ride doesn't officially begin until everyone is mounted and the horses are headed down the trail.
Energetic Healing in Nature at Sunset
We combine the healing energy of Reiki with the healing energy of Mother Nature to help people clear energetic blockages and open up to the Life force energy all around. Reiki is a powerful healing modality that can bring about experiences of deep peace and clarity long after the end of a session. We begin by setting an intention for the journey and become grounded in the present moment. We then set off on a meditative hike into the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Along the hike, there will be two 15-minute Reiki sessions followed with time to integrate the experience through meditation, journaling and discussion (optional), all while soaking in the sights and sounds of Nature’s own healing energy. If you are unfamiliar with Reiki, it is a form of energy healing that involves a practitioner channeling Life force energy to the recipient’s body. At the conclusion of our journey into energetic healing, we trust that participants will feel more connectedness to the undercurrent of peace in everyday life. Follow up support with either Trey or Melissa is also available. Let the healing power of Nature’s energy transform your experience into one of deepening peace and lightness.

Awakening in Nature Hike
We have a number of tours devoted to appreciating the natural beauty and aliveness this Universe has to offer, while connecting with the same aliveness that animates our bodies. Whether we are gazing at the mountains, the sun, the moon, the stars, the forest, a waterfall, whether hiking in the woods or sitting on the mountain top, we start each tour by setting an intention to help ground us in the present moment. We provide some guidance on attaining a state of expanded awareness designed to connect us with the rich aliveness of the natural world all around. Our guided meditations are designed to create a sense of oneness with all that is, while Mother Nature provides a beautiful container for Self-exploration and Self-discovery. Each tour concludes with a sharing circle for those who feel motivated to share their experience and some guidance for further Self-investigation. Each participant will leave feeling a deeper connection to all that is as well as tools to help them connect with inner peace in the midst of everyday life. [Please note that our excursions often involve venturing into the mountains, where temperatures can be much cooler. Bring a jacket or wear layers to ensure your comfort. Comfortable walking shoes and a bottle of water are also important to bring.]
