The accommodation consists of a well equipped kitchen-diner, cosy sitting room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Close by is a quiet sitting area with a lock up shed for bikes etc. The large bedroom is spacious with a double bed and the second bedroom can be configured as a single or twin. A cot can be provided on request. bed linen and towels are provided and heating and electric costs are included in the rental charge. Sorry no pets. The Red Lion serves great food & the local shop sells homemade and local goods are both 1/4mile away. The nearby village of Tideswell has more shops, pubs & cafes. Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton & Chatsworth are all within easy reach as well as stunning countryside walks & beauty spots.

Newly renovated, this self contained, cosy annexe is a light and welcoming space with its own entrance at the back of our family home. It has beautiful views across the valley but is within a short walk of excellent pubs, restaurants and cafe. Walking and cycling from the door or a short drive to all the Peak District attractions.

The area offers a range of outdoor activities including cycling on the monsal trail, hiking, caving and abseiling at Miller's Dale.

Stanley Barn is a snug retreat for up to 4 plus pets in the centre of a beautiful thriving village and on the doorstep of gorgeous walks. With its wood-burning stove, and exposed beams, Stanley Barn dates back over 200 years and is the perfect base for exploring Tideswell and the stunning countryside that surrounds it, whilst relaxing in peace and quiet after a day out. It's entirely possible to park your car for a whole week, and do seven beautiful walks, ending at seven different pubs!

The cottage itself is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break. Price includes bedding, towels etc. Travel cot and high chair available. Free wifi. Pets accepted. Our house is attached to the cottage, so we are generally on hand if you need us for anything.
