Unique early Australian shepherds cottage on 500 acres opposite stunning Mt. William in the Grampians National Park. Self contained cottage surrounded by amazing bird life, kangaroos, emus, echidna, wallabies and deer. Country life with all the comforts. Homemade bread, farm eggs, mulberry jam / butter , teas / coffee, milk are all provided for guests to make breakfast at their leisure. Cooking oils and condiments, assorted teas/coffee/milo, Anzac biscuits and access to cottage herb garden.

The pattern draws you into a sunken sunroom where morning light hits the terracotta tiles right on cue for coffee. Offering two equal queen bedrooms, a smart split-bathroom setup with a separate toilet, fast NBN, and a 2-car driveway. Walk to Main St, cafés, and the train station, or take an easy 20-minute drive to the Grampians. Named for a famous English train.

Handcrafted Shack, Halls Gap, Grampians (Gariwerd)

Wander through the trees to our handcrafted Shack, lovingly built from recycled materials, with breathtaking panoramic views over our regenerative farm to the mountains beyond. Inside snuggle by the wood heater, outside relax on a hand hewn red gum deck with built-in bath, outdoor shower. The outhouse provides views across the wetlands and its wildlife! Gariwerd walks are a 10 minute stroll away, as is good coffee, the local brewery and the eateries of Halls Gap. Come and connect!

101 Love Shack

Our rustic 1903 mud-brick studio is made from river sand and mud sourced from the local Great Western area. The studio was built as a fruit kitchen by the Patching family who owned and operated a number of orchards along Concongella Creek and Salt Creek. The fruit kitchen has been recently renovated into a 1-bed studio which offers history and modern comforts. The cottage is surround by farm land meaning there is an abundance of animals to watch and enjoy, including Kangaroos.

The Van in the Bush

Located at the foot of Mt. Cassell, part of the Grampians Range, on 20 acres of bushland. Only a 10 minute drive to Halls Gap and the Grampians National Park trails. Perfect for a romantic getaway or peaceful retreat. Unwind, switch off, and enjoy the quiet. From April to November you can enjoy the firepit, and if you’re lucky you may spot the 3 ponies and a donkey who roam the property freely. Simple caravan stay. Safe, warm and peaceful. Perfect for enjoying nature.

Concongella Cabin a place to chillout

Our very unique and slightly quirky accommodation is based in a beautiful private country setting in Great Western, a short 45- minute drive from the foothills of the Grampians. Originally a shipping container, it has been repurposed with a range of up-cycled and preloved items curated with care. It is set in a quiet little pocket surrounded by native bushland with an abundance of native fauna.

Our beautiful accommodation is for couples that like privacy and something special. The Lodge is fully self contained and every little detail has been thought of. This accommodation is new to us, but a beautiful addition to our Lodges Accommodation in Halls Gap. The place also offers Free Wifi and Netflix. A slow combustion wood heater is perfect for those special cosy nights.
