The cottage is a lovely place that was extraordinarily convenient for me--an extra blessing. It had everything I needed including fascinating artwork to look at as it's Liz's studio. There was even a lovely kitty who visited with me when I sat on the patio in the morning. I was able to walk the maybe 4 blocks to a gardens and the locks and watch salmon swimming even. It was a great stay.

The pluses are: very friendly and accomodating hosts, convenience to many Seattle satellite neighborhoods, very private, spacious, quaint, filled with art and comfortable futon bed. The minuses: musty odor, strong dryer fragrance, cold tile floors that heat up slowly with free standing heaters, need for thorough cleaning and some basic upgrading. Cats are lovely but beware if you are allergic.

The place was great! There's an on-site host, so you'll be well taken care of. I really appreciate the locking doors, and the patio out back. And the walls are covered in math and philosophy texts - great reading, if you're interested!

Love The Cottage!! Perfect location for great restaurants and must sees in Seattle! Comfortable space on Beautiful grounds. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Brad and Liz are a super friendly couple and great at communicating. Their AirBNB is a back detachment of their house, once an art studio, now a guest house. The artwork made there continues to decorate the space and the sculptures and paintings are stunning. Much of the space is used for some type of storage, but for the most part, everything is kept away. The WiFi is speedy and the towels were super fluffy. The bed is actually a futon, but oh my god it was so comfortable! I slept so well in that bed.

We were in town for a wedding in Ballard and this cottage was in the perfect location. It's quaint, cozy, and quiet so it's perfect if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay. I loved the lush garden surrounding the cottage and even noticed that they were growing grapes! Brad & Liz were very communicative the whole time and made sure they were there for our arrival. Everything was smooth the whole way through. I would definitely recommend this place if you are staying in Ballard!

We really enjoyed our stay at Brad & Liz’s cottage! We came for Seattle, but fell in love with Ballard and spent most of our time in the neighborhood. We enjoyed being able to walk to local shops and restaurants and come back to the cottage at night. It was very quiet, clean, and comfortable! A perfect place to recharge at the end of the day from a busy city!

This was the perfect place for me to stay. I took the bus into Seattle, then the ferry to Bainbridge Island and spent most of the day. What a lovely trip on a sunny winter day. My host's restaurant recommendation worked perfectly after an afternoon at the Chihuly Glass Museum. Seattle is just really cool, lots to do, and beautiful to look at. I hope to go back frequently, and enjoy the cottage often.

The cottage was very comfortable and it's a charming neighborhood. Didn't meet Pamela, but Erik was very friendly and graves tips on where to eat. Everything seemed to be in walking distance for dining. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great and equipped with all the amenities we needed. The decor was really neat. If we come back to Seattle we would gask to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage in Capitol Hill. It made for the perfect "home away from home" during our stay in Seattle - a short drive to everywhere in the city, lots of wonderful coffee shops, donuts, or restaurants close-by, and a stunning view of the garden and trees in bloom. The cottage had everything you could have needed, including a number of great surprises we didn't expect, including an extensive DVD library, great restaurant recommendations, and lots of guide books for things to do in the area. Overall, we couldn't have had a better stay in in Erik and Pamela's cottage and we'll definitely plan on booking again the next time we're in Seattle!

We had a wonderful 2 day stay in this lovely cottage which is beautifully decorated and well organised. The neighbourhood is great, quiet and central to everything. I particularly loved waking up to the bright green leaves outside the window.

Very clean and lots of little luxuries that we didn’t expect. Heated bathroom floor, washer/dryer in unit, heated towel rack, high quality kitchen equipment and utensils, overall we had a great stay and would recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

We loved staying at Erik + Pamela's place! Great location in Capitol Hill with easy access to some great shops and restaurants. Adorable unit with all of the amenities we were looking for. Will definitely look to stay again on our next trip to Seattle!

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our cottage experience. It is a perfect little crash pad for a solo traveler or a couple. Erik and Pamela have an impeccable eye for detail with their decor and housekeeping, and are very warm and welcoming in their communication. We didn't use many of the cottage amenities because we were only there for a night, but this place would be great for any length of stay, with its fully functional kitchen and laundry facilities. I have already started recommending this place to friends and family! Thanks, y'all!

Beautiful cottage in a great location!

This place is really perfect! Such a treat to have a DEEP soaking tub and a wood-burning fireplace! It was incredibly clean and quiet my entire time there, it's really a gorgeous refuge that is still very close to all the things one wants to do in Seattle. Host goes above and beyond with the amenities, including in the bathroom (make up remover, two robes, etc...) and also with thoughtful touches like providing starter logs for the fireplace! For two people, the small hot water capacity may not be enough each morning (or you may need to take showers at different times in the day), but I was staying there solo and it was a perfect amount for me. I will absolutely stay here again!

Regina is absolutely wonderful as is her cottage. Easy to access by public transport and just a short ride from both the Fremont and UW areas. Super convenient!

Regina is a wonderful host with a beautiful home. We stayed for two nights and felt very comfortable and at ease in her unique and peaceful space. Her neighborhood is very walkable and centrally located - we were in the area for three days and got around very easily by foot, Uber, and bus. We hope to stay here again when we return to Seattle!

Absolutely wonderful!

Regina and Julio were great. The space is nice, the bed comfy, and the location is convenient to the Fremont area. The only downside is sharing a bathroom that is in the main house, but if you're ready for that, it's no issue. If Julio is making ceviche--get some. Period.

Wonderful location—the cottage is within walking distance (or a short drive) to the heart of Ballard. Bev & Grant's guestbook has several helpful suggestions for places to eat and drink. The space is tastefully appointed with lots of great natural light. Bev & Grant were helpful and communicative, but gave us plenty of space and privacy. We would definitely stay here again the next time we're in Seattle.

Comfortable, clean and very nice place to stay. Had everything for a good stay in Seattle. Some nice restaurants in Ballard and within 30 minutes with the bus downtown. Perfect host!

We really enjoyed the place! It was cute and clean, with contemporary touches. The heating system kept us warm on a cold day. The bed was super comfortable. The TV came with plenty of cable channels to entertain us. The bathroom was modern and cozy, and supplied with all the needed amenities.

Location gives smaller quiet neighborhood feel while providing access to local walkable community plus all Seattle has to offer. Space is new, well maintained, and faces onto a patio, not towards the house which creates more privacy. Did not meet Grant, but Bev was very friendly and responsive to questions- and helpful. Notebook in cottage provides good information and resources. Always found parking within half a block of the house as I came and went the week I was there visiting family.

We loved the uniqueness of Tipsy! The privacy was also a welcome bonus. West Seattle is better for the genius that this creative power couple have decided to share. You can really see their talents! Lindsay and Chad have made it pretty seamless. This is a "must try" for West Seattle lodging. Pack your own coffee and bring a sleeping/eye mask. You won't want to miss this little gem!

What a unique experience! I’ve always had a fascination for tiny houses though had yet to stay in one. This far exceeded our expectations. Not only did they expertly fit an amazing amount of comfort and utility in such a small space, but it was beautifully finished with so many artistic touches. While it was located about a 20 minute drive from downtown Seattle, staying there allowed us to explore some areas in West Seattle which we had never appreciated before. Definitely would recommend and would love to return!

Tipsy The Tiny is outstanding! Modern, immaculate, and if you play- the ukulele was such a fun touch! The bed and couch are both comfy, excellent shower, instructions answered all our questions! Heat and lighting were perfect! Parking was slightly rough with our mid size SUV, but if you pat in Seattle often, it’s a breeze. We loved the space and look forward to staying again soon!

We loved this little house. It was clean and as is in the pictures. I would make sure you can climb a ladder before selecting this one but it is a beautiful little spot. Plenty of room for two people. Our host was great. Showed us everything we needed to know.

Great place to stay for a few nights. Ben very helpful with some great tips. The Little is House is very cute with everything you need and all the little details taken care of . Ballard itself is a great suburb of Seattle and would definitely suggest staying there as opposed to Downtown. Louise

Nice apartment with a small but pleasant covered patio.

The stay with Manuela was very nice. Exactly what we were looking for. Spacious setting, comfortable bed, nestled in a very cool part of town. She gave us tips on where to go eat including the cpp market place where my girlfriend and I grabbed some lunch and walked over to river to enjoy our meal. Overall our stay was very nice and would highly recommend it.

Top notch! Manuela was such a wonderful host. She was very accommodating with allowing my husband and I do our laundry and gave us many suggestions for making the most of the area. The apartment is impeccable. The decorations and furniture make the place feel like home, and Manuela has stocked the kitchen with all the necessities and more! Seattle was the last stop on a two week long west coast road trip, so we were wanting to spend our time relaxing and staying in. The house is also close to the center of Fremont and Ballard, and is near a great biking and walking trail. As described in the rental description, you can hear the family moving around upstairs. We are early risers, so this was not a big deal at all.

Manuela was very kind and in touch just the right amount. She made the studio feel so homey and it was a true home away from home experience. She left us a welcome chocolate. Her books were a joy to explore. The kitchen was perfect for cooking in one night and the location was perfect for exploring. Thank you.

The Fremont Urban Oasis made a perfect home-away-from-home while my girlfriend and I were visiting Seattle. Very comfortable, with plenty of natural light, and tasteful and creative furnishings. Manuela was a terrific host! Super friendly and easy to communicate with. We plan to book a stay at the Urban Oasis again, the next time we are in Seattle.

This studio apartment is cozy, very comfortable (esp the bed), super clean and full of the amenities you need for a stay in the Fremont area. It is perfect for two people! The location is excellent, quick walk to fun places in Fremont and a short drive to Ballard. It absolutely felt like a private and quiet oasis in the city and I would definitely stay there again! This is a fantastic getaway spot! Close to public transport, but also private and very spacious. We enjoyed our stay immensely and highly recommend!

Pete was very accommodating and a great communicator. I found it was easiest to use Uber to get down town & walk to most of the attractions i.e. Space Needle. You can catch the train at the UW campus to get downtown if walking is more your style! 20- 30min walk.

Great place for the money! You are below a family so you hear everyone walking around, but it didn't bother me much and it stopped around 9pm so didn't disrupt my sleep. Communication was great with the host. Would come back. Thanks again!

Very nice hosts. This is a refurbished basement and it definitely feels like staying with your grandparents. Young children rise early and it's very obvious when they are up. It's fairly difficult to access especially if you aren't fully ambulatory. The shower is awful. Hardly any water pressure. And we had the toilet start running in the middle of the night and I had to fix it because of the noise. You're paying for location...

Pete's place was a great place to stay for a short visit to Seattle. Walking distance to a couple good restaurants bars, and about a 20-30 minute walk from the UW campus. The bed in the apartment was more comfortable than the one I have at home. I highly recommend this BnB.

Pete's place was in a great neighborhood, easy to find parking and was a close drive to downtown and many parks. Everything was just as described, no problems at all and Pete was very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend!

Nice place to rest after a long day.

The hosts were amazing! There were detailed directions of how to enter the premises as well as how things work in the home. I had absolutely no problems at all, well other than finding parking.

One of my favorite b n b experiences so far. Location CANNOT be beat; very, very high “bang for your buck” factor, including a grocery store barely two blocks away and loads of restaurants and bars nearby. Loads. Also, being central it’s convenient to almost everything. While I love the social, hostel-like aspect of some of these spaces sometimes one just wants space and convenience - this place abounds in both. The house is clean, quiet, and home-y without being imposing. I definitely didn’t feel as though I was crashing with someone, but I also didn’t hear a peep from my loft bed, even when I could tell other people were up and cooking. 10/10, would do again.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and everything was as advertised. I did not meet Michael or Leah in person, but the information provided was comprehensive and easy to understand and easy to follow. The area where the flat is situated is nice with lots of shops and restaurants – very relaxed atmosphere.

Leah was a great hostess! Check in and check out instructions were clear, she was just a text away for any problems or questions, and the location of the space was great. Be warned that the loft bed is very close to the ceiling as advertised--even at 5' 1" I hit my head a couple of times. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

Staying at Micheal and Leah's place was a great experience. They'd provided everything I could've possibly needed and explained everything so helpfully that after arriving in Capitol Hill I could just enjoy my stay without having to worry about anything. While there, I met Leah who was very nice and made sure I was okay with the room and the flat. The location is fantastic - I really enjoyed the neighbourhood and it was an easy walk to downtown Seattle, with a train station only a few minutes away. I'd definitely stay in this place again.

Without a doubt the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at yet! They had everything you could need and more. They had snacks/breakfast and a full mini fridge of beverages. Plenty of towels/blankets. Perfect location for visiting Seattle. They were also gracious enough to let our friend stay (at no extra charge) so he wouldn’t have to drive drunk. They really cared about our experience I couldn’t have asked for more.

The room was upstairs, so it was apart from the rest of the house, giving us privacy! So happy to have stayed with them! They were also so nice to talk to in person. Really cute, comfortable place. Michael is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. The room is clean and comfortable with coffee, tea, snacks, fruit and cereal. The location is 15-20 minutes from downtown, but Uber is very easy to use. We would highly recommend staying here!

Rachel was a wonderful host! She was very flexible with checking in, kept great communication throughout, and her place was absolutely perfect (for exploring, lounging, or snoozing). I honestly couldn't recommend staying at a place more.

Rachel is an amazingly accommodating host! She allowed us to drop off our bags early, and also replies to your messages very quickly. Her place is adorable, it's small so it's perfect for 1 or 2 adults, no children only because of the stairs to go up to the bedroom. The neighborhood is also very nice, clean, and quiet.

You will not find a better deal when it comes to experiencing Seattle. Rachel made the whole process painless and stress free. Amazing location in Capitol Hill which has literally anything you could want within 6-10 blocks. Street parking and on-site laundry are a major perks. The apartment is cozy, safe, and quiet at night. Pro tip: open the porthole by the bed at night (if feels like you are camping). The only thing I would point out is that the lofted bed area can be challenging / awkward especially if you have a belly full of beer. It is totally manageable but if you are not comfortable with using narrow ladders, this might not be the place for you. All in all it was the best AirBnB I have ever stayed in and I will be using Rachel for my next trip to Seattle! Frank

Am really pleased with our stay. Rachel is a really great host with a comfortable little apartment. We walked to everything we needed to and had a blast. Very fine accommodation with a gracious host.

First time using Airbnb and from the get-go easy getting and receiving communications We are going on a cruise and location is great and close to Pier 91. We used Uber to pier and was $8. We used public bus into/back town for $2.50 each way per person and bus stop very close to Airbnb. The cottage had everything you needed and was all we hoped for but for US closer to the hub of downtown we would of preferred. This is in nice neighborhood of Magnolia This place was a very good value

The cottage was comfy and cozy. We almost had a hard time getting out of bed to go explore! Magnolia was a great little town to visit for dinner after a long day in Seattle. I would recommend this stay to anyone! ❤️

This place is so cozy and cute, has everything you might possibly need from kitchen supplies to toiletries. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. If you stay here, it will add something extra to your trip because it’s so perfect.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Kathy’s plane during Seattle winter storm. Kathy resounded to all messages quickly and was super helpful. Check in was simple, parking and the house was easy to find. The place is super cozy. Comfortable bed and had everything we needed. Was a little cold due to concrete flooring and possibly the cold outside but plenty of blankets to warm us up. Will be back in the summer.

Dan and Kathy’s cottage was amazing! My fiancée and I decided to stay for New Years and we loved every minute of it. The location was perfect- minutes away from everything in Downtown, the cottage was very clean and cozy, and Dan/Kathy were very nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a very comfortable location. We were very happy with the location and the ease of getting to the downtown area. Seattle streets are kind of strict crazy but with GPS we had no problems.

We arrived early. Robert was kind enough to let us in 2 hours before the check-in time and showed us around. He is responsive and attentive. Parking right in front of the place was a plus. We had all the amenities we needed. The place is clean and everything was neat and in order, including the fridge, washer, and dryer. The bed was comfy. The location is great and the neighborhood is safe and quite. Will definitely come back.

This place is a gem! It’s located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and is not very far at all from the city! There is plenty of street parking to the point that we only used the driveway once. Everything was very clean and tidy and we had a very enjoyable stay! I would stay here again!

Bob’s place is just like it’s pictured, cute and super clean! It was our first time in Seattle and Bob’s location was perfect! We absolutely enjoyed our stay! We weren’t home as often but we had everything we needed here :) It was also less than 20mins from downtown Seattle (if traveling by car) or link and not too far from a few local spots. This place is so cozy and clean. All the amenities were organized and well prepared. The location is very close to the mall and shops. Fern was very easily contactable and helpful whenever I needed information. I would definitely love to stay here when I visit Seattle again.

We had a wonderful trip to Seattle and were so thankful to have found Phil and Andrea’s guest house! The accommodations were very comfortable and surprisingly spacious. We loved the artistic touches on the walls from their previous travels. The location couldn’t have been better. About a 30 minute walk to downtown and even less to Lake Washington. It was such a joyous treat to have fresh delicious scones by Andrea provided to us daily! We highly recommend staying with Phil and Andrea!

Charming, quiet cottage with a peaceful deck in the back (a perfect place for solace and morning coffee). Location is great - quick walks or a lyft to coffee, beer, entertainment, etc. Andrea and Phil were excellent and prompt communicators. A great experience-can’t recommend them as hosts, or their cottage any higher.

Great location, very quiet, clean, and convenient. There were directions for where everything was and how to use it posted in easy-to-find places as well as a lot of recommendations for how to best enjoy Seattle. Not only were Phil and Andrea conscientious and friendly hosts, they left a piece insanely tasty orange-almond cake (the rumors are true!). Next time I'm in Seattle, they'll be my first choice for a place to stay.

If you want to get the experience of living in a tree house, this is where you should be!

Phil was a wonderful host! The place was just perfect for my boyfriend and I, it had everything we needed. Lyft/Uber drive to downtown was about 10mins with average price of 10$ each trip! Perfect location. Bakery right around the corner from Phil's was delicious! A must try! Would definitely stay again at Phil's :)

Phil and Andrea were incredibly welcoming and provided a very comfortable environment to stay in Seattle. I would highly recommend staying with them. I stayed for almost 3 months with them and had an amazing experience. Their house is located in a neighborhood about 15-20 minutes by bus ride from downtown Seattle. Very easy commute by multiple buses a block or two from their house to downtown (also an easy walk- about 2 miles). It is a quiet neighborhood but easily accessible to all parts of the city. Could walk up to the Madrona neighborhood in 5 minutes to great restaurants, cafes, and shops, down to the beach in 15 minutes, to Capitol hill in 10 minutes, etc. The "cottage" was well equipped with everything one would need, was clean, very comfortable, and had plenty of room. They had a gorgeous luscious green backyard with a grill and plenty of outdoor seating that I used when I had people over for dinner. Valerie’s place is lovely - conveniently located, comfortable, and pleasant. The room is stocked up with coffee and oatmeal and the bed is comfortable. The dogs - Zoe and Zeus are adorable and quickly warm up to you. Definitely would recommend a stay here.

Super convenient location in a multi-ethnic very quiet neighborhood. Valerie is a lovely host and her two little dogs are sweet & well behaved. Be prepared to live in a roommate, shared space environment and then you can relax like it's your home. Safeway (great deli takeaway food), Dollar Store, Rite-Aid & many more stores are just down the street. There are also various restaurants within walking distance - don't miss Drae's Lake Route Eatery: super nice people & hearty soul food. The lake is not far away & also the beautiful Kubota Japanese Garden is within walking distance - highly recommended. And a short bus ride will get you to Jimi Hendrix's grave & memorial. Central Renton is reached by bus but I didn't go. Last but not least, 2 1/2 blocks to the light rail & a 2-stop, 12 min. ride to the airport. Thank you Valerie!

Dogs can be energetic but Valerie is a tough and loving mom with them. The bedroom was warm and well stocked with beverages and even some oatmeal for breakfast. I watched a movie with Valerie and overall the experience felt like I was staying at the house of a beloved aunt.

It was a pleasant experience and it was a quaint place with good location with all of the amenities. It was unfortunate that when we arrived the apartment was quite cold inside and it took a long time to get heated. Other than that the check in was remote and checkout was a breeze.

This was our first trip to Seattle and Charly and Linnea's Place was a great addition to our stay here. It's so cute and Private. a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures. the location is great only a little less then 15 mins to downtown. The place is very clean, and so many books to take a look at in all different languages which is cool i really appreciated the art on the wall they are pretty cool pieces if you really look at them you can see the pictures within the picture. when we go back we will definitely request to stay here again if available.

I was at Megan's for less than 12 hours but it was a perfect stay. The space had just what I needed to recuperate. Megan was kind and flexible when my schedule switched around. The location is close to downtown and Capitol Hill, which was great!

Megan’s place was perfect for my short stay in Seattle. Extremely walkable, strong WiFi so I could work from the kitchen, felt safe. I arrived very late so the dog barked upon my entry but never heard a peep out of him again. He sat by me while I worked at the kitchen table in the morning. Host left me to my own agenda which I really appreciated during this particular stay. Others commented on cleanliness issues but it’s normal live-in home type stuff. I had no issues. I would stay here again if my travels bring me back!

First time to stay with Airbnb, I can say that this is a good experience. The location is really convenient, close to downtown and capital hill. The host is friendly and welcome!

The room at Megan's place is clean and tidy; a simple space that feels quite private. The room also comes with a heating unit built into the wall, which was perfect for cool Seattle nights and helped the room feel quite cozy. The main door's keypad is a very useful feature, made check in and out easy. Only suggestion for fellow travelers is about the owner's dog, he is a rescue and a little jumpy, he became upset and threatening one night when I entered the front door. Everything was fine and Megan was able to calm him down, but if you're scared of canines this might not be the house for you. Other than that, everything is clean and modern, and Megan is an accommodating host.

I did not enjoy my stay here. The shower had a lot of hair in it and not just hair from a head. The shower curtain was stained, gross and had clearly never been cleaned. The upstairs smelled like dog pee and when I pet the dog I noticed his backend was wet and he had been sitting in his own pee. It was sad. The host only let him out once while I was there and it was at 3:30 in the morning and onto the patio which has no grass and is mostly concrete. The patio and front door are right next to the room I stayed in, so it woke me up. The host also did not communicate well. I asked to check in early so I could drop my bags. She said it was ok but never got back to me about what time was okay so I only ended up coming 30 min early. I could not wait to leave this place.

This place is a great location and short drive to SeaTac airport and Pike Place Market. It was what I expected plus some more. My fiancée and I love the decor and appreciates the small touches (water, coffee/tea, serve wares). Highly recommend to anyone and will be staying here again.

Great place in a calm neighbourhood, and very easy to get to town. We enjoyed our stay at Kristin's house , and her cat Winston was very friendly. Would recommend.

Kristin was a great host. I never saw or met her in person during my stay, but it was easy to communicate with her and get things planned. All my questions were asked. Her humble abode is pretty rocking as well, nice and quaint.

Good location and kind family

My family vacationed in Seattle this year. We wanted to stay in a neighborhood, instead of a hotel, so that we would have a more authentic experience while visiting. We found Kristin to be accommodating, interesting and easy to talk to. She runs a great house and is a wonderfully laid-back host. Anyone who's wants a friendly, outgoing person with whom to stay, we would highly recommend booking a room at Kristin's house. Also, she has very nice front and back yards with benches in which to talk and hang out.

We loved the location! It was close to fabulous restaurants and shops and was a perfect quiet getaway. We figured we would be Ubering all over town, but we actually didn’t. We were so happy being where we were that we just walked around and stayed close. We were exhausted and the accommodations were perfect to relax and rest. Highly recommend!

Very clean, simple feel. Beds are pretty stiff (spring mattresses) but fine if you like it that way. Great value for the price. I felt like I was getting a deal.

Adorable, spacious spot that's only a block or two to restaurants, bars, grocery, art, transit stops and even the library and a gas station! If you don't know Seattle, there are a ton of travel brochures and transit schedules to help you plan your stay and get around town. And also the basics of home: Coffee pot (but buy your own coffee – Red Apple Market, just 1.5 blocks away, is one resource), microwave, dishes and even washer/dryer. And private parking is an added plus in central Seattle: Look for the alley to access it between 15th and 16th, then look for the chainlink fence with green privacy covering on the west side of the alley. Host will also provide you with a ton of information about both the space and Seattle after you book.

The location was great and just outside of downtown. The place was clean and felt cozy. Close to grocery store and a few blocks from the water with a view of the city in the distance. I think someone was parked in our spot, but we were able to find street parking with no time limit really close to the house. This was a great place to stay!

Lane & Lloyd were easy going hosts & communicated well with us. Check in process was easy. We had 1 night at their place. Was a 25 minute Uber from airport and very close to the lake. The beds were very comfortable, slept 12 hours after a long flight so appreciated the comfort! We were on 3rd floor & shared bathroom & living area was on 2nd floor. Everything you need is provided, towels, shampoo, soap etc. We were able to use washing machine & dryer which was a bonus! Breakfast was help yourself to the fridge and food on counter. We had a bagel, mandarins & coffee. Cereals, toast and eggs were also available. Recommended for an easy & affordable stay in Seattle.

We loved staying at Fraser's B&B. The room was very clean, modern, and spacious and the outdoor patio was perfect for enjoying the brisk fall weather. The hosts were very gracious and gave helpful suggestions for maximizing our stay. This is the best stocked B&B I've stayed at and I really appreciated how communicative Fraser was throughout the process.

Great stay in Ballard. Could not have been better.

Space was clean and had thoughtful touches (such as public transportation card available for use and water in the fridge). We were asked to be quiet at a reasonable hour in the evening, but overall we had a pleasant experience staying here.

We enjoyed our stay with Fraser, Even though he was out of town and we never met in person, he provided great hospitality and line of communication. His wife Jan and dog Kobe were very friendly and welcoming. The home is lovely and location was perfect. The bedroom was nicely decorated, the bed and linens were very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious. Parking was easy for us, never more than 1 or 2 blocks away. The neighborhood is super charming, a short walk to the main streets filled with great places to eat, drink and shop. We discovered an amazing local bakery just around the corner—the best croissant I’ve ever had to date!—we went both mornings for pastries and coffee. Would stay again next time we’re in the Ballard neighborhood.

Lars's place can be hard to spot but as a result it feels very secluded and private which is exactly what my boyfriend and I were looking for. From his pleasant neighborhood it was a quick 10-15 drive to downtown Seattle and the amenities included covered all our needs. There were even a few extra touches like little chocolates and wine that we weren't expecting!

Great place and host. Very quick responses, simple check in, comfortable bed, awesome shower, nice tv, and the jacuzzi was fantastic.

A really funky little place. Very modern with an awesome shower and hot tub. Unfortunately the neighbors were kind of loud several mornings of our stay. But I never had to fight for street parking and Michael was super responsive and very accommodating.

Michaels place was great - perfect for my boyfriend and I. Super clean, comfortable bed, but the bathroom and different styles of lighting were out favorite parts. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re a super tall person, but a 10/10 if you’re normal sized or smaller!

I really enjoyed my time staying here. The place comfortable with a lot natural light. The apartment is in walking distance to plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and sites! Although I did not meet Sid in person, he was very responsive to my messages and accommodating to my late arrival. I highly recommend Sid's place.

I've taken time out from my honeymoon midway to give an honest review. A main issue for us was cleanliness, on arrival I accidentally dropped my phone under the bed and was horrified when bending down to look under the bed to find an open discarded condom wrapper on the unvacuumed carpet underneath. As we had immediately arrived and not yet unpacked, we did consider forfeiting the booking & just staying elsewhere but given we have booked a series of high end hotels for the rest of our honeymoon we were keen to explore Seattle using airbnb as our base. Further inspection revealed a film of grime and congealed dust on top of the microwave and our feet were black having only walked across the floor once. I would have contacted the host but unfortunately had received no further responses from him following a very enthusiastic email upon booking offering to help with any questions. Despite contacting him repeatedly by email and via airbnb directly, I had no response. Even when we were buzzed in on arrival, there was not so much as a hello from the other end so it seemed futile pursuing him further. We were also not impressed with the expectation from the host to do our own linen laundry on departure ready for the next set of guests, this came across rather unprofessional; especially given the standard of cleanliness on arrival. Considering we spent 493 dollars for 3 nights, it is reasonable to have some sort of expectation in terms of cleanliness and a communicative host. The positive thing about this apartment is that it is well located for downtown Seattle if that is your preference. The advert is somewhat misleading though as the building it is situated in is very much targeted towards a young crowd; it is owned by Greystar who I am very familiar with as my husband managed one of their high end student accommodations in London last year. Like those lodgings, on arrival, the lobby has a foosball table, ping pong table and retro arcade gamestation. The apartment itself is extremely open plan with a very loud fridge that keeps you awake at night.

Very clean, near space needle and a 30 min walk to the monorail. Lobby has pool and a tables to hang out in. Walking distance to Seattle center.

Sid's place was perfect. Close to everything and in a great building. Incredible view from the rooftop with comfy chairs and BBQ's for grilling. The place was clean and instructions clear. We will be back!

The location of this Airbnb was incredible! Literally a few blocks from Pike's Place and the waterfront! The building was in great condition with an awesome gym and roof top deck! Very quiet! The apartment is even better than the pictures and includes a blow up mattress which came in handy. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that wants to park their car and leave it for their time in Seattle!

This was a perfect place for us to stay in Seattle. It’s really close to downtown and there is a bus stop and street car stop just down the street that we used every day (we purchased orca day passes). It is on the fifth floor with no elevator access, but the views were great and we embraced the extra exercise to get to our room. There is no a/c, but we were able to open the window and let the cool breeze come-in (it would be nice if some fans were provided for warmer days). The apartment complex is a bit of a maze so much sure you read the check-in instructions carefully. Overall it was a great location and a comfortable stay!

Cute place, communicative host, and nice location. If you plan on taking public transit, this location is right next to a few bus stops. My issues were that if you are a light sleeper or afraid of spiders, this may not be the place for you. Since this is a basement, you can hear the footsteps in the house above you. Most of the time it's not an issue but there was a day were there was a lot of frantic hurrying around at 5 or 6 am on a Saturday that was a bit frustrating. Additionally, we had issues with lots of spiders. Most of the spiders we caught and put outside but there were two huge spiders that were about the size of my palm.

The space was more than enough for our accommodations. It was a great time. Thanks so much Tyler for treating us well

Our stay at this AirBnB wasn't as positive as expected. We appreciated Ashley's quick and friendly communication, however, it is unlikely we would stay here again. The location would be suitable for those with a car who are willing to drive through traffic to and from the city, or for those who need a quick place to stay during a layover. Even with our car (and knowing that we would have to drive to get to/from Seattle), we felt quite isolated from most things, and spent the majority of our time in the car even to get to basic stores. The noise was considerably louder than we were expecting despite the warnings from the host and past guests. We both wore earplugs, and were still awoken to children (which is obviously uncontrollable at times), but also to loud neighbors partying beyond 1 in the morning with blasting music. This was surprising to us, as we are generally very deep sleepers, and can handle a bit of noise. The other negative was the iffy wifi, which cut out on us a few times during our stay (and without a data plan, it made it difficult to contact anyone). Overall, the place was clean and the host had effective communication.

Ashley's place is very convenient, only 5 mins walk from the bus stop. The room was very clean and well organized! I put 4 stars because even though the house rule says the quiet time is after 9pm, their children were noisy until almost 10 and they even started shouting and screaming at 7 in the morning (in front of our room). I love children but it was little disappointing and stressful. I would not recommend if you are looking for a comfy and quiet place. But their room was totally clean and cute!

Perfect location for all the normal tourist attractions. All within walking distance. Easy check in/out. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Small tv would be nice to unwind to after a busy day touring the city.

Olivia's place was in a fantastic location - just blocks away from Seattle City Center. The building was great and had a fantastic rooftop deck! The folks we came in contact with in the building were friendly as well. If you bring a car, pay attention to the parking situation. We had issues with the UPark lot across the street and later found out the company has many complaints. Fortunately, we lucked into a street spot for the end of our stay. We have communicated with Olivia about our disappointment in the upkeep of her unit and trust that the issues will be addressed for future guests.

If you are wanting a place to stay in Seattle that is centrally located by the Space Needle, Pikes Place Market, numerous pubs and breweries, then this is the place to stay! We were blown away by the convenience and ease in which we were able to visit so many places in just two short days! Olivia’s place is clean, efficient, and had everything you need for your Seattle stay.

Great location, clean, comfortable lodging space. All the amenities you’d need to cook or do laundry. Great value for what you get.

This place is within walking distance to everywhere you would want to go. I would suggest if you reserve this place, do not bring a vehicle. There is plenty of public transit for you to use close by. The parking situation can be a little hectic. Olivia is quick to respond to any concerns you have.
