The loft offers a private bedroom with full bath while the lower level provides two bedrooms, a full bath, kitchenette, dining space, living w/TV. Parking for max 3 cars!
What better way to reconnect with your friends and family while avoiding the crowds and practicing social distancing. Rejuvenate with the fresh mountain air. If you need to work remotely or wish to remain in touch with technology, no problem. We have superb wifi connections and YouTubeTV. Take a walk, go for a beautiful ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway, hike to the waterfalls or stay in for the afternoon or evening - what better place to cuddle up next to the fire with a great book. Doesn't get much cozier that this!
Built in 2009, this 2167 square feet log home, located in the gated community of Line Runner Ridge, has 4 bedroom and 3.5 baths. There are 2 levels of covered decks, a spacious screened porch and a two-car garage. The cabin is located near Brevard in Rosman, NC, which is inTransylvania County, NC the “Land of Waterfalls”. We are a 15 min drive to Brevard.
Within a 30 minute drive of the cabin you'll find shopping, tubing, rafting, fly-fishing, kayaking, hiking, biking, golf, tennis, and horseback riding. Beautiful Hendersonville and Asheville, NC, along with the Biltmore House, are all within an hour of the cabin. Or, jump on the famous Blue Ridge Parkway, which is about 20 minutes from the cabin, for a gorgeous and memorable drive. Pisgah National Forest, offering breathtaking waterfalls and beautiful vistas, is also within a 20 minute drive of the cabin.
If you just want to hang out, relax and enjoy nature at the house, no problem - there is no better place to unwind. Sit and relax on one of the two decks, read a book in the screened in porch or lounge on the back deck from sun up to sun down. The highlight of the day is the breathtaking sunsets. Year round views are plentiful, with Hogback Mountain (aka Toxaway Lake Mountain) on the western horizon. The scenery is always fun to watch, particularly as the weather changes and the mountains are hidden behind the weather curtain, only to reappear through the mist following a dramatic summer shower. Brilliant sunsets after a storm are breath-taking and every sunset is an artistic rendering unto itself. Listening to wildlife's summer orchestra is soothing as well. During the cooler months, cozy up at the fireplace with a good book and a cup of cocoa. Or flip on the TV to catch a game or movie with YoutubeTV and Netflix.
For the outdoor adventure folk, load your backpack with snacks and your favorite beverage, walk out the front door and hike for about an hour to the top of Joshua Summit. Look for deer and locally famous “White Squirrels” along the way. Black bear sightings in Line Ridge Runner Estates is not uncommon. The panoramic view of the Brevard area and surrounding mountains is mesmerizing. For hikes outside of our gated community, check out Dupont to see the waterfalls or Gorges State Park for amazing scenery. Also, there is a wonderful welcome center at the entrance to Pisgah State Forest, just outside of Brevard, that we highly recommend visiting for local insight and information: 1600 Pisgah Hwy, Pisgah Forest, NC 28768.
If you’re into tubing, canoeing, rafting, kayaking, camping and/or fly fishing, we’ve found the friendly people at Headwaters Outfitters to be very helpful. Their compound is less than 10 minutes by car from the cabin. They offer fly fishing lessons and guided floats up the French Broad River. Their friendly staff has always been glad to answer any questions about the area you might have. They can even take you on a float to Brevard or Asheville.
Dining: for a sample menu for dining in Brevard (about a 20 minute-drive), we recommend you visit the Square Root, Maya's Grill and/or the Falls Landing Restaurant. We have had good meals at all of them. Dress is informal. Or, a tad farther down the road, check out the world renounced Sierra Nevada Brewery, located near the Asheville airport. The outdoor areas are amazing, the beer selections plentiful and the cuisine pleasing to the palette: 100 Sierra Nevada Way, Fletcher, NC 28732. Asheville is about an hour's drive from the cabin, and affords a multitude of wonderful eateries; it is a true culinary mecca.
For an afternoon of strolling and shopping, the streets of Brevard harken back to the days of Norman Rockwell, with boutiques lining the streets and splendiferous vistas in the background. You will find unique shops of almost any kind imaginable and art galleries abound, offering some of the finest pottery and local artwork. Children of all ages enjoy browsing OP Taylors Toy Store on the corner of Broad and Main Streets. There are bakeries and ice cream parlors to cater to every sweet tooth.
We are sure there is something for everyone at our cabin and are confident you will have an amazing time. If you are interested in reading some of the recent reviews from the previous property owner's website, continue to scroll below. We are happy to provide all 89 reviews upon your request.

Super clean and wonderful property. Gated community with good neighbors that stop to say hello if you see them on the road but they are not nosy. Fenced area for dog in yard and porches are complete with gates. Wonderful great room that is open to bedroom upstairs. Bathrooms on each of the 3 levels. Gas logs inside great room and gas or charcoal grills, outside on back deck. Even have one section of deck enclosed but we noticed no flys, mosquitos or other bugs during our week stay. Big screen TVs in great room and downstairs. DirecTV and internet worked great. Parking in garage for 2 cars and additional parking outside of garage. Lots of useful information in property notebook. We really enjoyed our stay and fly fishing in nearby streams. Brevard is close for fine dining or shopping. Dishwasher and full size washer/dryer are very quiet. Audio and subwoofer for tv are awesome for watching movies in the evening. Drive from gate to house is gravel but was not an issue for our car or pickup.
The cabin was just right!

This house worked out very well for our family. The inside of the house is great but my favorite part is the wrap around deck with the lush mountain view. Very peaceful and quiet.
Great Weekend Getaway
5/5 - Stayed May 2019: Elizabeth B.High Point NC
The house was just as they described. It is pretty secluded and the view of the sunsets each night were terrific. The beds were comfortable and we were able to cook, play games and enjoy the breezes and quiet. We were close enough to go hiking at Dupont to see the waterfalls, go biking and we made it to the White Squirell Festival. Tubing was great thanks to the Headwaters Outfitters. They had supplies we could use and the people were helpful. Thanks again for a great weekend.

This is a very nice cabin that is easy to get to. We stayed here Fall 2018 and liked it so much we came back! It is 20 minutes from Brevard so it is easy to get to grocery stores and activities.

Second time we've stayed. We love it. Plenty of privacy, yet close enough to Brevard for shops and restaurants. So close to TONS of waterfalls. Owners are very responsive and helpful.

Great Fall Get Away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is in a quiet peaceful setting with easy access to amenities. The cabin is only 15-20 minutes from Brevard so it was convenient to get to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. We hiked in Gorges State Park which was lovely. The cabin is comfortable and the fenced yard was great for the dog.

We were amongst the thousands evacuating from the coast because of Hurricane Florence. The sites we were using did not allow same day booking so we had to message owners. Mrs. McFall reached out quickly after my message to her. I messaged over 8 people on our drive up and was starting to panic about finding a house that allowed pets.
The house was absolutely breathtaking. It was like our own little adult treehouse getaway. The yard was perfectly fenced for our dog Max to play in. The house was exceptionally clean!! We were not allowed to go back as soon as we had hoped and this family allowed us to stay at their home and additionally 2 days. Words on this page could never express how grateful we are for this families kindness. We will definitely book this house over and over again. Thank you McFall family for sharing your home. God Bless!
Wonderful roomy cabin. Great views!

Three generations of our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. Great views, very comfortable, lots of space for everyone to get together and get private time as well.Spent a lot of time on the very roomy decks, eating all our meals outdoors enjoying the cool weather and outstanding views. The owner was very accommodating and very nice to deal with. We love this area of North Carolina with the fabulous waterfalls and great hikes and this lovely home made a great home base for our daily excursions into nature.

We only stayed for three nights, and left wishing we could stay longer. The cabin has a great layout on three floors, and huge decks with views through the trees. The location was perfect for our hiking in Pisgah National Forest, and Brevard has plenty of eating options. Would rent again.
Fantastic Close-By Mountain Getaway!

Cant say enough good things about this property! Perfect set up, slept all 8 of us comfortably and plenty of amenities for our fury friends. Well thought out layout for animals to be a part of the family, have access to outdoors and be able to enjoy the experience without requiring constant attention. House was spotless, well maintained and well stocked - close in with plenty of trails and waterfalls! Will be using it again in the future! Thank you!

Wondeful vacation spot!

Although there were only two of us and our two pups, this spacious cabin was perfect for our last minute getaway. It is easy to see how a much larger group would enjoy it as well. Plenty of room for multiple families. The place was clean, well stocked, and it is clear this is a cabin enjoyed by the owners and their family. The personal touches and pictures made us feel like we were guest in someone's home, not just renting a cabin. Well done McFalls! The area is great. We made many trips to Brevard, Hendersonville, Asheville. as well as the Dupont and Pisgah Forests. Finally, and perhaps most important to us, the cabin and yard was accommodating and safe for our pups. The fences provide a safe place for them to get some time outside off the leash and their being able to be safely on the porch with us was wonderful! We have saved this cabin to our favorites list and will be back! Thank you!!!!

Very rustic and peaceful neighborhood. The roads are not paved and some may prefer AWD, however, we have easily navigated the roads without.
