Mansfield Ski Club
Ski-in & ski-out access from the house to the club with 17 diverse runs, 7 lifts, 3 freestyle terrain parks, Mansfield prides itself on its outstanding conditions committed to providing the best winter experience possible. The club is inclusive vibrant and very social with a welcoming atmosphere. Plenty to offer for all levels and conditions. Walkable, skiable and a 1 minute drive down the hill.

Mulmur Farmers Market
One of the BEST small community farmers’ market in Ontario offers organic local Ontario produce from farmers in the surrounding areas. Featured vendors include Escarpment Gardens, Rosemont Organics, Connies Kitchen & many more. Open Sunday’s between 12pm-4pm, seasonal from May 20th – Sept 28th. Located at Dufferin County Museum & Archives; Hwy 89 and Airport Road. 10 min drive from the house.
Woodfield farm is perched on 47 acres in the hills of Mulmur. We are a small diversified farm, raising pastured poultry, Berkshire and Tamworth pigs and shepherding a flock of sheep. Seasonally, our market garden provides us with fresh delicious vegetables and herbs for our weekly markets and our newly opened farm store located at 936215 Airport Rd, Mulmur. 7 minute drive from the house.

The longest freshwater beach in the world with 14 km of safe, sandy shore located along the southern end of Georgian Bay. The sunsets there are breathtaking, with plenty of activities for all ages including amusement parks, restaurants & bars, shopping etc.
Because of its size, the beach is divided into six smaller beaches, so if you would like to steer clear of tourists and crowds who flock to Beach 1 and 2, make your way to Beaches 4 or 5 for a more private and quiet afternoon. 25 minute drive from the house.

Home to Creemore Springs Brewery and North America’s smallest jail, the community hosts a weekly farmers’ market and many annual events. 15 minute drive from the house.
Bear Creek Golf Club is 27 holes of contoured fairways, dramatic bunkers and strategically-placed water. All three 9s offer a challenge for the experienced golfer, while letting newer players learn the game without undue frustration. 25 minute drive from the house.
Silver Brooke Golf located in Lisle, Ontario boasts a stunning professional 6600-yard course. The 18-holes feature bent grass tees, fairways and greens as well as Teminskaming white sand. 15 minute drive from house.
Mad River Golf course offers a variety of strategic choices and shot variations that demand finesse, patience, attack and composure. Mansfield Outdoor center
Privately owned outdoor education centre is located on 300 acres of beautiful land including vast forests, fields, stream, and pond, and adjoining 2000 acres of Dufferin County Forest. The centre is a multi-faceted educational and recreational facility that offers group facilities in a natural environment. The Centre opened for cross country skiing in 1974, and was one of the first to offer groomed ski trails in Ontario.
Cross country skiing, 34 km trail network provides a choice of different trails graded from novice to expert, including 16km of Skate Trail when conditions exist. 5 minute drive from the house / 20 minute walk.
Hiking & trails
Bruce trail – Canada’s oldest & longest marked footpath, 900km from Niagara to Tobermory, the Bruce trail connects you to the wonders on the Niagara Escarpment. Multiple access points available nearby to the house within the Dufferin Hi-land section of the trail. Access points vary from 5-25 minute drive from the house, please refer to the trail maps.
Dufferin Forest – Dufferin Forest Trail is a 10.5 kilometer moderately trafficked loop trail located near Mulmur, Ontario, Canada that features a great forest setting and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is accessible year-round. Distance; 10.5km loop. 5 minute drive / 20 minute walk from the house.
Split Rock Narrows – Bruce trail section of the Dufferin Hi-land, this hike boasts rocky outliers, steep cliffs, long views, a glacial spillway, and an impressive crevice system for which Splitrock Narrows is named. Distance; 2.6km loop. 15 minute drive from the house.

Nottawasaga Bluffs Conservation area – 30 minute drive from the house.
The Pine, Boyne, Nottawasaga & Mad & Noisy rivers are a short drive and offer some of the best fishing in Ontario. Access to brook, brown, rainbow trout & Steel head salmon throughout the year.
Township of Mulmur straddles the Niagara Escarpment, offering an awesome riding experience. Half the area is prime agricultural land and rolling plains; the other half rivers, plunging valleys, and steep hills which open up into expansive vistas. Hundreds of kilometers of trails and roads available for all types of cycling & all skill levels. Dufferin forest offers groomed and semi tracked paths for mountain biking located 5 minutes from the house.
