There's plenty to do, with walking and cycling on the door step and outdoor activities at How Stean Gorge and Studfold Farm. For day trips, Harrogate, York and Leeds are within easy reach as well as The Forbidden Corner, the Lightwater Valley Theme park and Masham with its brewery heritage.

Chequer Barn Apartment

An oak framed loft apartment is above a large garage which is accessed by stairs with a balcony for tree level seating. The space is not attached to our house and has separate access. The pitched roof gives the apartment a feeling of space and light, with underfloor heating. The outside space is ideal if you want some fresh air. We are in a rural location with no amenities, although the nearest village is only two miles away. We would welcome all visitors, but we don’t accept children.
