It sleeps two (but has a travel cot as well) with an open plan kitchen and cosy living area, plus bathroom with bath and shower. Outside is a sunny garden area with table and seating. The space is really light with lots of windows and oak features. Lots of thought and love have gone into decor to make it a really lovely space. The apartment is separate from the main house and very private.

The Goose House

The Goose House is a private one bedroom cottage in the grounds of Brook Cottage, a small holding, which originates from the 17 th century. It is situated in an 'Area of outstanding natural beauty' and the delightful Leigh Brook runs through the grounds. It has gated access and plenty of parking. It has been renovated in 2024 and offers a comfortable stay. A welcome pack includes local fresh eggs, homemade jam and fresh coffee that we roast ourselves. We have super fast broad band too.

With views directly onto the lake it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the countryside. Minnow Cottage is a beautiful 200 year old Cotswold cottage set on a little stream in the charming and quirky village of Chalford . Although petite in stature, the cottage oozes character with low ceilings and beams and has all the qualities needed if you are looking for a rural retreat or romantic break.
