Hood are all about an hour, and there are numerous hikes from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond. River House! Right on the banks of the Nehalem with creeks on both sides. Our location is just a mile off of Hwy 26 & 22 miles from the coast Hwy 1. We have nicer weather here with swimming and fishing right on the property. Our location is close to neighbors and a small grocery, but once in the house you will be facing the river for fishing, swimming and lolling about. There is a little cottage that we live in so you might see my wife and I puttering around, but we respect your privacy.

The house boasts a fully fenced yard, a delightful patio area with a BBQ and a picnic table, and a charming outdoor fire pit for those perfect evenings when conditions allow (No Burn Ban). Mt. St. Helens is 51 miles from the house. Mt. Rainier national park is 83 miles.
