Situated in glorious Welsh countryside on the edge of common land , We are a farm with cows, horses and sheep. Direct access to a large area of common ground, there are horses and sheep there, and you can walk and cycle. The river Wye is about 4 miles away where you can canoe. Hay on Wye where the literary festival is held about 9 miles away. Builth Wells is approx 11 miles where the Royal Welsh Show is held, also other events. Brecon Beacons are not far, also some caves with a dinosaur park,
The property is a self contained annexe on the side of a stone farm house situated above the town of Hay-on-Wye, looking towards the Black Mountains,with fields that run down to the Offas Dyke pathway. It is an ideal base for walking, enjoying the River Wye or visiting Hay itself. We are very animal friendly and dogs are welcome , but will need to be kept on a lead when in the proximity of the free running poultry and sheep.
