Not only are we just a few blocks to SVU's campus and close to VMI & W&L, we are very close to many hiking trails, the Safari Park, Natural Bridge, the Blue Ridge Parkway, on the edge of the Washington National Forest and many other outdoor activities. This is a brand new home that is clean, modern and inviting. We have an outdoor deck with seating and twinkle lights that can be particularly enjoyed in the spring and fall!

Come enjoy our home in beautiful Buena Vista tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by thick forest. With a deck and a fully fenced front yard enjoying the outdoors is easy. Just 4 minutes to SVU and 12 minutes to VMI and W&L it is easy access to whichever campus you need. The house is also 12 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and on the edge of the Washington National Forest.There are many trails here (some even just across the street) so if you come to hike, you are in the right place!

Virginia's Triple Crown Lodge (Shuttle)

This recently renovated barn loft is located a 0.3 mile walk from the AT and just off the Transamerica Trail (cycling). This secluded retreat is located within 20 miles of Blacksburg, Fincastle, Daleville, Salem, and Roanoke. The host is an experienced AT hiker and offers shuttle service to local trailheads, grocery stores, laundromats, etc. The first 20 miles are complimentary, with a $0.70 fee per additional mile. The Cottage at Roaring Run Farm is a relaxing two bedroom retreat nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The farm sits on 153 acres of rolling pastures between neighboring cattle farms that make up a 1,000 acres of contiguous farmland. The cottage features beautiful views of the Peaks of Otter Mountains among fields of grazing horses and donkeys. Sunrise and sunset are truly magical hours on Roaring Run Farm.

Centrally located near the library, Gypsy Hill Park, and downtown Staunton, our private, walkout basement apartment has individually controlled heating and air conditioning. It includes a brick patio, private rear entrance and historic details from the late 1800's. It is generally quiet, but you may sometimes hear the two adults upstairs.
