The Barn at the Old George and Dragon

The village of Pavenham is situated just 6 miles north of Bedford. Surrounded by the beautiful setting of the River Ouse, the village has a magnificent golf club and a pub right in the centre. Just 100 metres from the Old George and Dragon, the COCK does not provide food at the moment, but a great atmosphere. However, 5 minutes drive away is the SUN at Felmersham which does good food. Several places in Bedford deliver takeaways. Ideal for walkers on the John Bunyan Trail.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay. Dbl bedroom, lge lounge with sofabed children 2 max, wet room, kitchen. Tea/coffee provided. Air fry oven. WE ONLY ACCEPT 2 ADULTS Private patio area for guests, we back onto the RSPB, 5 mins Shuttleworth. Bedford 20 mins St Neots 10 mins MK 25 mins. Lovely walks. Train 5 mins walk. We do not accept pets as we have a 2 dogs. local shops have baker, butchers and several eating/takeaways, tesco and co-op. Lots of nice local walks .

The Acorn - Detached, clean and quiet

Brand new detached house in an elevated position above a quiet rural lane. Great night skies and horses in the field next door. Outside sitting area and private parking. Lovely king sized double bed with views and high quality bedding. Local eggs provided for breakfast. The Acorn is in the heart of the village so it’s very easy to walk anywhere and find 2 great pubs. The Domek: Idyllic Hertfordshire cottage

The Domek is set within an idyllic courtyard of the Gotha Gardens at Pembroke Farm. The cottage accommodation is over two floors with an open plan sitting room, diner and vintage kitchen decorated in French farmhouse style, whitewashed beams and oak floors. The bedrooms are fresh and charming with a circular window in the double and a Juliet french window in the twin. The Domek also has its own reserved terrace overlooking the courtyard.

The house is unsuitable for children of any age.

Ideally situated for day trips to Cambridge, or London. Bedford mainline train station is 15 minutes away.
