Set on Lose Hill, in the Peak District National Park, this dog friendly cottage is ideal for exploring the area with Mam Tor, literally, on the doorstep.

Temperature inversions create outstanding conditions for photography. The cottage is vernacular and decorated to English Heritage standards.

Recently restored to create a warm and inviting space, it offers a great base from which to explore the Peak District with the famous Castleton Caves, Kinder Scout & Mam Tor all on your doorstep. Offering, free WiFi, on-street parking, lovely spacious rooms and garden space. Perfect for couples or families with small children. We can accept up to 1 dog, a fee of £30.00 is payable.

In the grounds of a 17thC manor house, we are minutes away from the many facilities in Castleton. The Coach House has two bedrooms. You will also find our other cottages, the Barn, the Stables and the Gardener's Cottage on AirBnb - take two or more for larger groups and families.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.

Included are kitchen basics, tea, coffee milk and a freshly baked loaf with butter and jam on arrival.

Goose Croft, tucked away in Edale

The setting of this cosy small detached cottage is beautiful and you feel quite secluded, yet the village of Edale is 1 minute walk away. From here you can enjoy the countryside by walking or biking, short or longer routes. There is a folder in the cottage with a selection of maps, which you are welcome to use and choose a route straight from the door. There are two pubs, two cafes and a general store in the village.
