Consists of a large bedroom & a bathroom with a tub/shower. Inside the bedroom is a "kitchenette" area with a mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven & keurig. There's also a love seat to relax and watch tv. The queen bed has a comfy medium firm mattress and nice cotton linens. Lovely private backyard w/ grill. See more info in photo captions.

A public park with a pond, stream, pathway adjoin the property. 30-minute drive to Pisgah & DuPont Forests.

Spend the evening relaxing on the front porch, or take an easy drive or Uber into downtown Hendersonville for a little more excitement. The house was recently renovated to incorporate the many luxuries of the 21st century but maintains it's 1950's charm. It's a short walk to the Oklawaha Greenway, several restaurants and stores, and a quick scenic drive to all the beautiful spots in Western North Carolina.

The street is quiet and lined with beautiful homes listed on the historic register.

Located in a quiet wooded neighborhood, the Byrd Box is a mile from our quaint downtown with shops, restaurants, and local pubs; a 20 minute drive from hiking trails, waterfalls, and apple orchards; and a short hour from the ski slopes! Come relax on our porch swing and enjoy the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. *Please note that our home is accessed via a short set of stairs.

This beautiful upstairs suite has the charm of country living with the convenience of Historic Downtown Hendersonville only ten minutes away. It is ideal for families as well as individuals. Guests have their own private entrance with keyless entry. The owners live downstairs and are happy to answer questions and offer assistance.
